Maikel joined Progress in May 2025 as a Senior Consultant. With over 25 years of experience in CMC development within the biopharmaceutical and food industries, he has played a pivotal role in advancing biological products from early-stage R&D to Phase III clinical trials and commercial launch. His career spans the full CMC lifecycle, including clinical trial production and commercial manufacturing — both conducted under strict cGMP conditions.

He has contributed to numerous life science projects, guiding teams through complex technology transfers, process validation, equipment qualification, and regulatory readiness. Maikel held senior positions at companies such as Immodulon Therapeutics, Allergan, Durata Therapeutics, and Xendo, and has worked internationally in Singapore, the UK, and the Netherlands.

Known for his strategic mindset and hands-on approach, Maikel brings a structured, solution-oriented way of working to cross-functional environments. He is also highly experienced in providing technical content for regulatory submissions and supporting interactions with health authorities.
