Life as a Progress consultant by
Caroline Brevet
I’ve been working at Progress as a Project Manager / Technical Writer for almost eight years and in that time I’ve learned a lot, both at consultancy jobs, from trainings which Progress has provided, and from my colleagues. It’s been an invaluable experience to draw from their wide range of knowledge, both in terms of hard and soft skills. I’ve expanded my expertise from QA to Change Control, Deviation CAPA/EV, Project Management and Validation documentation.
I enjoy managing the constant new challenges that this type of work entails. Sometimes that means performing a wide variety of tasks for several projects at once, or even working for multiple clients at the same time. It is always interesting to sample different company cultures across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
From the beginning, what impressed me most about Progress as a company was the high standard of professionalism and expertise everyone adheres to, and secondly the focus on work-life balance and community building. I really appreciate all the opportunities for contributing to and participating in socials events, knowledge sharing, and internal improvement projects. I’ve helped organize a summer beach event for colleagues and their families, shared practical insights on technical writing, and I am working with a team to define our company’s sustainability goals and translate them into actionable items.
