Jolanda joined Progress per February 2026. She started her career as analyst at the RIVM in 1993 after she was graduated as bachelor. In 1996 she started at Centocor (Janssen Biologicals) in the Downstream Processing department. She promoted to teamleader in 2000 and since then she has managerial functions. In 2003 she moved to the validation department, responsible for commissioning and qualification of equipment, utilities, and facilities. In 2011 she moved to the Quality department where she was responsible for the batch release process and documentation control. She finalized a Green Belt project in 2013.

In 2013 Jolanda started as head of quality at Batavia Biosciences. In 2013 she started the education program to become a QP with NSF and University of Strathclyde. In 2017 she received the Msc in quality management and GMP and was registered as QP. Jolanda has built Batavia from an R&D oriented organization to a GMP oriented organization. She was responsible for QA, QC and EHS but was also involved in production related activities. She was involved in the design of the new manufacturing facility.  

Personal

Jolanda (1970) is married and has 3 children. She lives in Alphen aan den Rijn. She likes to visit the theater and when the spring starts, she loves to go to the camping with the caravan for hiking and cycling.
