Petra (1967) joined Progress in May 2025. With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and food industries, she has a strong foundation in process engineering and GMP compliance. She brings deep expertise in production optimization, automation, project management, and team development.
She studied Food Technology and worked for 25 years at Stork Food & Dairy Systems, contributing to innovations in UHT sterilization and process automation.
Later, she joined the utilities and automation department at Sanquin, where she worked on the qualification of equipment and computerized system validation.
After that, she became the manager of the Production Support Department at Prothya Biosolutions, where she was responsible for team management and managing process and product improvements.
Driven by a passion for collaboration and meaningful impact, Petra excels at helping teams grow and succeed, with a clear focus on outcomes that drive real progress.

In her spare time, Petra enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, playing tennis, and practicing yoga.
