Frequently Asked Questions

We know that choosing the right consulting partner often comes with questions. On this page, you will find answers to some of the questions we hear most often, from how we work to what you can expect from our consultants. If your question is not included, please feel free to contact us. We are always happy to help.

What is Progress’ approach to providing aid for our problem?

We start by gaining more insight into your needs, preferably via face-to-face contact, phone/Teams contact, or via email, after which we aim to match the right consultant to your question.

We match the right consultant(s) not only based on technical and experience fit, but also on the soft competencies that match your organisation, taking into account, for example, company size, clinical/commercial phase, and of course culture.

Should there be multiple matches, we provide you with the opportunity to choose. It is, of course, possible to meet with the proposed consultants to see if there is a fit.

How quickly can a consultant join our company?

After receiving your inquiry, we aim to provide you with resumes of consultants fitting your question within 1-2 working days.

The start of the assignment greatly depends on the consultant desired and can range from immediate availability to several weeks or months, of course also depending on your needs.

Do you work lump sum or on remuneration?

Our standard approach is to provide you, in our quotation, with an estimate of the hours and costs needed based on the information known at that moment. During the assignment, we only invoice the hours that are actually spent on your project. In some cases, for example training, audits, or a short feasibility assessment, we can offer a fixed price for the assignment.

What information does Progress need from us upfront?

We are primarily interested in hearing the problem you are trying to resolve, but in addition it is useful to know whether you have any specific requirements besides the right experience, when the project is starting, whether it is full-time or part-time, whether remote work is possible, and whether there are any language preferences.

Are your consultants available for work outside the Netherlands?

We have been involved in various international assignments and are currently executing several international assignments on a remote basis.

Full-time presence on site abroad can be discussed on a case-to-case basis and will depend on the location (travel duration), the duration of the assignment, and the possibility for one of our consultants to work abroad for that period.

Short assignments, such as audits, and remote work are certainly possible.

What level of experience do your consultants typically have?

Our consultants typically bring a high level of experience. Most have over 15 years of industry experience, ensuring they can quickly add value to your organisation.

We also work with junior consultants with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience, depending on the specific needs of your project.

This allows us to provide the right balance between seniority and hands-on execution, always tailored to your requirements.
