Emma joined Progress as a QA/QP consultant in June 2026. After obtaining her master’s degree in Bio Pharmaceutical Sciences & Science Communication at Leiden University, she started in October 2018 as QA Officer at Vemedia Manufacturing B.V., where differentmedicines – specially based on plant extracts – and food supplements are manufactured in different dosage and packaging forms (e.g. tablets, powders and liquids in blisters, jars/flasksor sachets/stick packs). After four years, she became QP and RP of this site and was, among others, involved in several inspections and audits – both as production site/CMO/warehouseas well as client for outsourced activities.
