Gil has been working as a Senior Consultant at Progress since January 2026 and brings over 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily from TEVA Pharmaceuticals.

His background spans with Engineering (projects and maintenance), Qualification, Validations and calibrations, Utilities and People management roles. Prior to joining Progress, Gil served for nearly three years as Engineering and Maintenance Director at Pharmachemie (Haarlem, NL). In this role, he led site’s maintenance and equipment reliability plans and led mid and long-term capital investments to increase capacity, efficiency and ensure reliable and safe delivery of medicines to patients.

Prior to this role, Gil acted as a strategic Project Manager within TEVA Global Engineering, where he led major strategic capital investments across Teva’s global manufacturing network.

Gil has an extensive experience across Sterile, Oral Solid Dose, and API manufacturing technologies, as well as R&D laboratories, including chemical analytics and biosimilars greenfield & brown field projects. His expertise covers the full engineering lifecycle—from conceptual and basis of engineering designs through equipment specifications and installations, construction, and complete qualification of production facilities till successful hand over to the users for operational needs.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA (Magna Cum Laude).
