Hans has been with Progress since 1 August 2016. Hans is also a board representative for the GMP committee of DARQA.

Hans obtained his PhD from the University of Groningen in 2001, from the department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy, with a thesis on ‘Dry Powder Inhalation’. Following a period spent working as a post-doc, Hans started working in the pharmaceutical industry in 2003. After working as a GMP consultant for the first few years, he then joined HAL Allergy, where he worked in the field of Validation and Quality Systems for over 9 years. In this position he was QA responsible for the new-build of the GMP production facility in Leiden. After this he became Senior QA Director at Kiadis Pharma. From March 2019 till October 2023 Hans was Quality Manager of Progress.
