Michel has been working at Progress since October 2013.

Michel is a (bio)pharmaceutical professional with over 20 years of experience in CMC, process development and manufacturing, supported by a PhD in Bioprocess Technology. Michel has extensive expertise across the full product lifecycle, from early- and late-stage development to commercial manufacturing, with experience with different modalities including vaccines, antibodies, and cell therapy products.

Michel is experienced in leading cross-functional CMC projects including advancement of products into clinical trials, scale-up, process validation, technology transfers, Continued Process Verification and regulatory submissions. He is an experienced author of regulatory dossier sections and quality documentation. Furthermore, Michel has a special interest in biosafety and related regulations and engineering considerations.

Michel is driven by delivering impact for patients and clients through successful development and commercialization of innovative therapies. He is motivated by working with and empowering multidisciplinary teams.
