Mike joined Progress as a QC Consultant in June 2025. He brings over 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, people and project management.

He began his career as a chemical analyst, supporting routine and stability testing, analytical method development, method validation, and transfers. In 2020, Mike transitioned into a team lead role, where he successfully coached analysts and implemented structured workflows such as a ‘day start’ to drive clarity and prioritization in the lab.

Since 2022, Mike has worked in QC project management, overseeing analytical and microbiological deliverables for both clinical and commercial products. His strong analytical background was complemented by leading a project focused on microbial methods, expanding his expertise beyond chemistry.

He is highly experienced in method transfer and validation, GMP compliance, quality record management (deviations, CAPAs, change control), and regulatory inspection readiness. Mike has served as the QC representative during audits and inspections, drawing on his extensive hands-on experience.
